"There are no better people here in Brantford who genuinely care and want the very best for you. I can’t tell you how many times Lynn has come through for me when I needed to see Dr. Barker in a moments notice!! Much love and thankfulness to these amazing people!!"

Chiropractic is a system of health care which unleashes your body's own healing potential. Although chiropractic is not a "cure" for any condition or disease, due to the increased nervous system function that occurs, people of all ages have experienced changes in their levels of health and function.

Changes have been experienced with conditions such as asthma, ear infections, colic, stomach upset, constipation, headaches, behavioural issues, disturbed sleep patterns, and overall energy levels.

Remember, you do not have to be experiencing a condition or disease to see us! We here at Brantford Chiropractic welcome the opportunity to help you incorporate chiropractic care into your lifestyle. Keep yours and your family's nervous systems healthy for life!

Our Practice

Chiropractic believes that the body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism that will function at its optimal potential, as long as there is no interference to the nervous system, which is the body's master control. The Doctor of Chiropractic is specifically trained to determine where (through a number of diagnostic techniques) there may be interference to the nervous system of the body by subluxations. (Subluxations refer to areas of nervous system distortion and the accompanying joint and soft tissue malfunction.) Through specific chiropractic adjustments, these subluxations can be corrected, allowing the nervous system to function as it should.

The function of the nervous system is so critical that check-ups by your chiropractor on a regular basis will promote optimal health and well-being. It's important to understand therefore, that Chiropractic care is not simply about back pain, neck pain and headaches, but rather about giving your body the best opportunity to express its optimal health potential. Chiropractic care is lifetime wellness care and our team at Brantford Chiropractic Associates is ready to help you embark on this exciting journey to better health!

The Brantford Chiropractic Associates Family Wellness Clinic was founded as the fulfillment of the dream of Dr Stephen Barker who graduated in 1987 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Although we have grown tremendously over the years, it has always been our focus to provide high quality, non-invasive, safe and effective chiropractic care to those who participate in our practice.
